Earrings are usually worn by women and they have been worn since time immemorial to serve various purposes. In the past, people wore them as a symbol of bravery or for good luck. The circular ones will draw the eye horizontally and your face will appear even rounder. Ensure that you wear long ornaments as they will elongate your face. Women with wide or square faces should avoid long or voluminous rings. Earrings with oval shapes or those that are of medium length will flatter their face more. Women with oval shaped faces have an added advantage in that they can wear any type of rings and still stand out. Tear drop and oval shaped rings however, flatter their faces the most.
Gold earrings are worn to bring out a more luxurious look and they are usually very expensive. Wood, thread and metallic rings are popular with most women mainly because they are fashionable and also affordable. It is important that you clean you rings regularly so as to enhance their durability. Gold and Silver Plated rings should be kept away from moisture so as to prevent oxidation.
